Popular character actor Aparshakti Khurana has bagged his first film as leading man, Helmet, opposite Pranutan Behl.
Khurana, who was most recently seen in the hit Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), will play the male lead in the film to be directed by Satram Ramani.
The film will also feature Khurana's co-star from Stree (2018), Abhishek Bannerjee. The makers released a teaser announcing the film going on the floors on Thursday.
Aparshakti deserves to be a lead actor, says brother Ayushmann Khurrana
The teaser for the announcement features Khurana's voice asking for a condom using the many euphemisms for the contraceptive. When most of them fail, he resorts to the term 'helmet', a common colloquial name for a shy customer who avoid saying 'condom'.
