It's India versus Pakistan again, except the competition is on the dance floor. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor as warring dancers from competing dance groups in the UK for a competition. However, they come together to help other immigrants from India and Pakistan who are stranded in the foreign country in less than fortunate situations.
The nearly three-minute trailer is packed with comedy, drama, and plenty of dance action, as the groups get ready to compete. Prabhu Deva has an important role as a mentor who shows both Dhawan and Kapoor the larger picture. Aparshakti Khurrana is involved in a more dramatic turn after his recent comic stints.
The Remo D'Souza film will also feature a recreation of Prabhu Deva's iconic song 'Muqabala' from the Hindi-dubbed film Hum Se Hai Muqabala (1994). Another popular number, not from Hindi cinema, 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara' has also been recreated for the dance film.
Street Dancer 3 is due to be released on 24 January 2020, just before Republic Day. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you would be keen to watch the film.
