Looks like Govind Namdev is back in business. The actor will be seen playing a police officer in the Salman Khan-starrer Radhe (2020), reportedly a follow-up to the 2010 hit, Wanted.
Radhe, directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Salman Khan's brother Sohail, also stars Disha Patni, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff and is slated for release in 2020.
Speaking about his role, Govind Namdev said, "I'm playing a cop [deputy inspector-general]. I'm working with Salman after a long gap. I was in Wanted with him. It was really amazing working with him again and we both have some impactful scenes. He is also doing a very impactful and significant job."
Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe went on the floors in November with Salman Khan.
Namdev added, "This is the third time I am working with director Prabhu Deva. The first time we worked together on Wanted (2010), then on Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013). Altogether it has been a great experience shooting for the film."
