Telugu star Ram Charan on Monday donated Rs10 lakh to the family of an ardent fan, Noor Mohammed, who died on Sunday of a cardiac arrest.

After hearing about the sudden death of Noor Mohammed, veteran star Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's father, and Allu Arjun, also from the clan, rushed to pay their respects.

Ram Charan could not go as he was out of town. On Monday, he donated Rs10 lakh to Noor’s family and promised to visit them once he returns to Hyderabad.

Talking about Noor, Ram Charan praised his services to all the heroes from the family over the years. He said Noor had donated blood several times over the years and conducted several charity activities in the name of the stars.

On the career front, Ram Charan is currently shooting for SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which also stars Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.

Rajamouli has said that RRR is a fictional story set in the 1920s in the pre-Independence era but is based on a few years in the lives of two real-life revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

While Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem, Ram Charan plays Alluri Sitharama Raju. The film, being produced by DVV Danayya, is being prepared for release next year.
