Ahan Shetty, son of actor Suniel Shetty, offiically began his journey into the film world. The mahurat ceremony of his launch pad, which is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, RX 100 (2018) took place yesterday at a south Mumbai theatre.
The film is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson.
The news of the same along with the glimpse of the mahurat was shared by veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh. “Filming begins... Glimpses from mahurat ceremony... Ahan Shetty - son of Suniel Shetty - begins his journey in Hindi films with the Hindi adaptation of Telugu film RX 100... Costars Tara Sutaria... Directed by Milan Luthria... Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala,” he wrote on his official Twitter page.
The film will see Tara Sutaria star opposite Ahan. This is her third film after Student Of The Year 2 (2019). She has already finished shooting for Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan (2019), which will be releasing on 2 October.
Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, RX 100 (2018) starred Kartikeya and Payal Rajput. The film told the love story between a village boy and the daughter of a politician and how they get separated.
The film is Luthria’s next after Baadshaho (2017), which featured Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi. along with an ensemble cast. The remake of RX 100 is the first time he is not working with established actors.
