Prabhas, UV Creations thank producers for moving their films for Saaho


The producers thanked the makers of the films like Pailwaan and Chhichhore which were set to release on 30 August.

Actor Prabhas and UV Creations, the makers of Saaho, have thanked their fellow producers and filmmakers for postponing the release of their films in order to accomodate the Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer. 

The production house, UV Creations, shared a post thanking the fellow filmmakers for acceding to the requests. 

"The entertainment fraternity has joined hands and extended their support for Saaho to release in the Independence month itself by shifting their release date," they wrote.

Among the films releasing on the same day were Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore (Hindi) and the Sudeep and Suniel Shetty-starrer, Pailwaan (Kannada). Chhichhore, which also featured Shraddha Kapoor, was moved to 6 September whie Sudeep's Pailwaan has been moved to 12 September.

Saaho is an action blockbuster made on a massive budget of Rs300 crores. The film is being released simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. With action sequences directed by Hollywood specialist, Kenny Bates of Transformers: Dark Of Moon (2011) fame, the film also marks the Hindi debut for Prabhas, and the Telugu debut for Shraddha Kapoor.
