Shah Rukh Khan might be taking it slow with his acting projects, but he has turned his attention towards producing. The actor's production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, has reportedly purchased the rights to the Spanish series on Netflix, Money Heist. Reports suggest Khan is in talks to remake it into a Hindi film.

According to a report in MumbaiMirror.com, the actor has chosen the Netflix series to turn it into a Hindi film. Quoting a source, the paper said, "There is no clarity of Shah Rukh Khan's involvement as an actor. At this point he is only producing it."

Money Heist is the tale of a mysterious man, Professor, who hires eight career criminals to pull off a heist of 2.4 billion euros at a Swiss bank. The professor monitors the heist from outside as the eight lock themselves in the bank and print out the money.

If the reports are confirmed, the project will be Shah Rukh Khan's third major Netflix collaboration after Bard of Blood and Betaal. The actor is producing the thriller based on author Bilal Siddiqui's best-selling novel of the same name. Featuring Emraan Hashmi, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Kirti Kulhari, the series is expected to arrive on Netflix on 27 September.

The recently announced Betaal, featuring Ahana Kumra and Vineet Kumar Singh, is a horror series about a centuries-old British Indian Army officer, with his zombie army, who battles the Indian police in a remote village. The web-series will be directed by Ghoul director Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan.
