Just last week, news emerged of veteran Hindi film actor-director Satish Kaushik producing a Marathi movie titled Mann Udhan Wara. Now, the first poster of the film is out and features the lead pair Monal Gajjar and Ritvij Vaidya.

Going by the poster, the film appears to be an emotional slice-of-life saga. The beautiful visuals of the Konkan region are unmissable with the boat, river and greenery.

Directed by Sanjay Memane, Mann Udhan Wara also stars some popular artistes such as Kishore Kadam, Sagar Karande, Uttara Baokar and Sharvari Lohokare.

The poster of the film was shared by Kaushik’s long-time colleague and close friend Anil Kapoor on Twitter. He wrote, “Always working on stories that touch hearts! All the best Satish Kaushik for Mann Udhaan Vara! This is the first step and I know it will be a successful one!”

Mann Udhan Wara is the official remake of the Khasi film Onaatah: Of The Earth. Directed by Pradip Kurbah, the film recently won the National award for Best Khasi Film. Interestingly, Kaushik was one of the members of the awards jury. After watching the film, he thought of remaking it in Marathi.

Mann Udhan Wara will be released on 11 October.
