After Salman Khan's sudden announcement that the upcoming Inshaallah is being pushed from its original Eid 2020 release, the production house has now put out a message stating that it 'will not go ahead' with the film.
The project marked the first-time pairing of Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt, Inshallah was to be directed by Bhansali himself. The film also marked the reunion of Khan and Bhansali, 20 years after their last film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). However, the film seems to have run into major problems now.
On Sunday, Salman Khan tweeted a message suggesting that the film will not release on Eid 2020, as announced earlier.
The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!

While Khan's tweet seems to suggest that the film has simply been delayed, the tweet from the productions has a finality to it. The production house tweeted on Monday afternoon that it has decided 'not to go ahead with the film until further notice'.
Bhansali Productions has decided to not go ahead with In-shaa-Allah for now... Further announcement will be out soon... God willing🙏🏻@prerna982

Tagging Prerna Singh, the CEO of Bhansali Productions, the tweet seems to suggest that the film has been put on hold. The production house has promised 'further announcement' soon.
Inshaallah was scheduled to release on Eid 2020, having replaced the upcoming Rohit Shetty film, Sooryavanshi (2020) which shifted their date to 27 March 2020 instead.
