Suyog Gorhe has so far acted in films like Bus Stop (2017), Shentimental (2017), Krutant (2019), Aamhi Befikar (2019) and the recently released Girlfriend (2019). But with Sataracha Salman, he has bagged his first lead role.

The makers have announced the film by sharing its first poster. Produced by Prakaash Singhee, the film is directed by Hemant Dhome, who had helmed the recently released multi-starrer Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2 (2019)

The tagline of the film says, ‘Dreams come true for those who see them.’ This suggests that the film is about the character called Salman who dared to dream big against various odds.

The poster shows Gorhe’s character being celebrated as people are seen lifting him amidst the presence of band players. Now, whether this is the final moment of the film will only be known later. It also gives an earthy feeling of a small town like Satara, thanks to the production design that's predominant all over the poster.

It will be interesting to see as to why the protagonist is called Salman of Satara. Interestingly, this is not the first Marathi film referring to Hindi film star Salman Khan in the title. A film called Salman Society is also in production.

Sataracha Salman is all set to release on 11 October.
