The upcoming film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019), launches two new faces to the Hindi film industry – Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba. After the teaser, the first song gives us the first glimpses of the two young leads.

The duet ‘Ho Jaa Awara’ is a wonderfully expressive track co-written by Siddharth and Garima and Tanishk Bagchi’s score turns it into a song to listen to, once again. It’s refreshing to see a duet in which both the male and female singers have equal p  arts to perform.

Ash King and Monali Thakur both belt out ‘Ho Jaa Awara’ in their impressive voices, with Thakur taking the lead in the number. In the number, the song is focussed on the lead pair, out on an adventure trip, discovering themselves, and the lyrics of ‘Ho Jaa Awara’ signify that.

Bagchi’s composition, which sounds a bit familiar, is a wonderful change from his usual recreations.

While Karan Deol comes off a bit reserved, and maybe a bit shy, in the song, Sahher Bambba seems doubly enthusiastic to make up for him. It remains to be seen how the two fare in the other parts of the film.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019), directed by Sunny Deol, is due to be released on 20 September.
