Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Judgementall Hai Kya hasn’t had an impressive first week at the box office in India. Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film has made only Rs27.40 crore as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Judgementall Hai Kya collected an average amount of Rs19.25 crore over its weekend. On top of that, the numbers saw a fall on Monday, with the film earning Rs2.25 crore. There was a steady drop from there onwards, which the film couldn’t afford after a non-encouraging first weekend.
As per our trade sources, the film has been made at a budget of about Rs30-35 crore. The film is yet to reach that amount. The good thing for Judgementall Hai Kya is that no big Hindi film has released this Friday. The bad news, however, is that the Hollywood movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw has got a certain pull among audiences in India.
Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer, Arjun Patiala, which released alongside Judgementall Hai Kya, put up a poor show as it could make only Rs6.20 crore in its entire first week.
Meanwhile, the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 has done well even in its third week where it earned Rs17.85 crore. Based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and directed by Vikas Bahl, the film’s overall total stands at an impressive Rs131.28 crore.
The other Hollywood release from last week, The Lion King, also had a very impressive second week in India with the film collecting Rs44 crore. It's grand total currently is Rs124.94 crore.
