Varun Dhawan is combining birthday celebrations with work on the sets of Coolie No 1 (2020). The actor shared pictures of himself celebrating his father, David's birthday on the sets of the film in Thailand on Friday, 16 August. The team are currently shooting for the film in Thailand, Bangkok.
The actor shared a picture of himself in costume as a coolie, with David Dhawan, playing the happy father on sets. 'Happy birthday papa mera number 1 director. Kaam chalu hai bhai log. Coolie number 1', the caption read.

Coolie No 1 is a remake of the 1995 Govinda-starrer of the same name. The film will see Varun Dhawan team up with Sara Ali Khan in a new take on the story. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is due to be released on 1 May 2020.
