The new poster captures the ethos of Mumbai in the 1980s and 1990s when the textile mills the city was once famous for began shutting down causing mass unemployment which led to the rise of several criminal gangs in the city.
The film, which features an ensemble cast that includes Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Gulshan Grover, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy and Amol Gupte will revolve around the changing face of the city in that period.
The new poster of the film captures this theme with the abandoned mills turning into fertile recruitment fields for the underworld, the smoking guns replacing the chimneys of the factories that once offered the citizens of Bombay, as it was then, employment.
Mumbai Saga is jointly produced under Gupta’s banner White Feather Films and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
