Divya Dutta to be seen in horror-suspense short film Mirror O Mirror

Divya Dutta was seen last year in a short film titled Plus Minus where she starred alongside internet sensation Bhuvan Bam. Now, she is ready with another short film titled Mirror O Mirror. The film is directed by Maahi Kaur, a filmmaker from Canada of Indian origin. 

As per an official statement by the makers, the film mixes the genres of suspense and horror. “It is a metaphysical short film which is based on the fact that sometimes reality is not the reality what we think is the reality!” said a statement from the makers. The poster of the short film has also been released. It gives a mysterious feeling, especially with the use of colours. 

Mirror O Mirror has only two characters — one played by Dutta and the other by Ashmith Kunder, editor of a number of well-known films like 88 Antop Hill (2003), Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women (2003), Dasavatharam (2008), Lamhaa: The Untold Story Of Kashmir (2010), Shor In The City (2010), and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017).

Dutta will also be seen in Sheer Qorma with Shabana Azmi and Swara Bhasker. She also has Gul Makai, based on the life of Pakistani Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, and Anubhav Sinha’s Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai.
