The makers of Boyz franchise return with Girlz: Watch motion poster

In the last two years director Vishal Sakharam Devrukhkar came up with Boyz (2017) and Boyz 2 (2018). Both films turned out to be a success at the box office. As per the titles, the films were coming-of-age tales about a group of boys. 

Now, the makers have come up with another film on the same lines titled Girlz. Now, they will stories from the other gender. The film is produced under Sanjay Chhabria’s banner Everest Entertainment. 

The motion poster of Girlz was recently released. It doesn’t reveal the cast of the film, but gives hints about what the film could be about. Boyz and Boyz 2 were bold takes on the coming-of-age stories for young men. Similarly, the animation here suggests that this too will be bold and the film will likely take place in Goa. A voicover in the background asks, why should only boys have all the fun?

The Boyz series starred Parth Bhalerao, Sumant Shinde and Pratik Lad in lead roles and the film revolved around their stories. The first film had an item number from Sunny Leone. It was her first appearance in Marathi cinema. 

Girlz is due to be released on 15 November.
