Actress Dia Mirza and husband Sahil Sangha announced their mutual separation today, 1 August, after 11 years together.
Mirza and Sangha were married in Delhi on 18 October 2014. Before that, they had co-founded the production company, Born Free Entertainment, in 2011.
Mirza shared their personal statement online and said they would not be commenting any further on the separation.

“We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect,” the statement read. “While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other.
“We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request to respect our need for privacy at this time,” they added.
Born Free Entertainment produced Love Breakups Zindagi (2011), directed by Sangha, and Bobby Jasoos (2014), starring Vidya Balan. Mirza, who starred as Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata in Sanju (2018), was recently seen in the web-series, Kaafir, on Zee5.
