After being out of action for over a year following the debacle of his last film Naa Peru Surya Naa Iillu India (2018), Allu Arjun is now on a signing spree. On the occasion of his 36th birthday today (8 April), the actor announced his next three projects.
While two of the three projects will be directed by Trivikram and Sukumar, respectively and it is already known, the third film has been titled Icon, and it will be directed by Venu Sriram.
Arjun will commence work on Trivikram film from later this month. There are rumours doing the rounds that Rashmika Mandanna might pair up with Arjun in Trivikram’s film or the one with Sukumar.
Arjun and Trivikram are joining hands for the third time after Julayi (2012) and S/O. Sathya Murty (2015).
Arjun’s film with Sukumar is current dubbed AA 20 and will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
The project, which is expected to go on the floors after Arjun completes shooting for his upcoming project with Trivikram, will be Arjun’s third outing with Sukumar after Arya (2004) and Arya 2 (2009).
Icon will mark the first time collaboration of Arjun and director Venu Sriram, who rose to fame with Nani starrer MCA. If everything goes as planned, Icon will go on the floors later this year.
There are also rumours that Arjun has a film with director Vikram Kumar in the pipeline. This project will only go on the floors next year.
