Andhadhun grosses Rs300 crore in China, inches closer to Bajrangi Bhaijaan


The dark comedy is most likely to race past Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan's (2015) business in China. Bajrangi Bhaijaan, that was released in China in 2018, grossed $45.55 million in China.

Sriram Raghavan's Andhadhun has crossed Rs300 crore in its China business. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu, has so far grossed $43.46 million [approximately Rs302 crore at the current exchange rate] in its 19 days at the box office so far. Andhadhun is currently running 50,000 shows in China.

Andhadhun continued to occupy the second place at the China box office behind P Storm that had amassed $110 million in 18 days.  

Andhadhun, produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, had a fine run in India too, making Rs74.37 crore. The film was made at a modest budget of Rs32 crore and was released on 1,200 screens in India.
