Kalank's five-day extended opening weekend business stands at a low of Rs62.50 crore nett, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.
The Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios' co-production opened at a record-breaking Rs21 crore, but has since seen a downward curve. The weekend was key, and Kalank disappointed by earning Rs9.25 crore nett and Rs11 crore nett on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Kalank review: Disappointing saga set in pre-Partition times
While the domestic business is not looking too good, Kalank has enjoyed a decent run overseas. The film has grossed $4.75 million (approximately Rs33 crore) in the overseas market.
Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is set in the Partition era. It has an impressive star cast of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha.
Kalank is way off the mark when it comes to opening weekend overseas grossers. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat (2018) holds the record with $10.59 million, followed by Dhoom 3 (2013) $10.32 million, and Sultan (2016) that made $9.50 million. Kalank is way behind at 26 place edging Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
With the hugely popular Avengers: Endgame releasing on 26 April, the chances of Kalank growing significantly in the second week look bleak.
