The grim-sounding voice of actor Sunny Deol intones, "There is no face to terrorism. His religion is only money."
In the first look at Blank (2019) which introduces Karan Kapadia, the son of late costume designer Simple and nephew of actress Dimple, the actor's visage is never fully shown.
Instead, with voiceovers, the gripping premise is put forth. Kapadia plays a suicide bomber who has lost his memory and is pleading with the officials (one of them is Deol) to help discover why he is in this state.
The newcomer's role seems challenging and hopefully, Karan will be up to the task.
Written and directed by by Behzad Khambata, the thriller is due to be released on 3 May.
The trailer of the film, also starring Ishita Dutt, will be out on 4 April.
