Bosco Martis to turn director with India's first dance-horror film

Choreographer Bosco Martis of Bosco-Caesar is ready to sit in the director's chair again with the first ever dance-horror film in India that will begin filming in the second half of 2019.
The horror musical will be produced by Zee Studios.
In a press release, Martis stated, "As a choreographer, I wanted explore my skills in the dancing world by without trying to attempt a film on the lines of Step Up. So I came up with the concept of a dance-based horror-comedy. It sets the platform to create something magical."
"We are still working on the film and will have something interesting to offer as the attempt is to create a unique experience for the audience,” he shared.
Martis is working on the script with a few writers. The choreographer is also a judge on the reality show, Dance India Dance and hinted that he might select some of the talented dancers from the show to cast in his directorial venture.
The lead cast of his film is yet to be announced.
Martis was originally due to make his directorial debut in 2017 with Circus starring Sonakshi Sinha as a trapeze artiste and Suneil Shetty as her father. The project has since been stalled.
