Traditionally, parents in India urge their kids to become either a doctor or engineer. In Ravi Jadhav’s Rampaat, Abhinay Berde’s character's mother wants him to become an actor. This is purely for economic reasons as one does not need funds to become an actor, according to the mother. The scene is presented in a humorous way.

The situation of Kashmira Pardeshi’s character isn’t any different. She wants to become an actor to earn a lot of money.

As the two of them start their journey towards the profession, the song ‘Aaichaan Ra’ comes on. It looks like an entry song for Berde and Pardeshi. It’s an out-and-out dance number, with professional choreography and both the leads display good dancing skills.

The song is placed on a set that says 'Pune Junction', suggesting that the city could have a role to play in the characters realising their cinema dreams.

The lyrics speak of the star-struck characters looking forward to their new life, leaving their worries behind. The music suddenly changes track, as a dream sequence introduces well-known Marathi film stars Ankush Chaudhari and Amruta Khanvilkar.

Bela Shende and Harshvardhan Wavre’s voices add energy and spunk to 'Aaichaan Ra'. The production design is colourful and suits the filmi nature of the song.

Rampaat is Jadhav’s next after the highly acclaimed Nude (2018). The film will be in theatres on 17 May.
