Mental Hai Kya poster: Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut dangle on the razor's edge

The madcap entertainment by Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut, Mental Hai Kya, will now be released on 21 June. The film had already been postponed from its first scheduled date of 29 March to May, before the latest announcement. 

The film marks the return of Rajkummar and Ranaut together since their appearance in Queen (2014). Rajkummar shared a poster of the film featuring the two leads with a blade hanging on their tongues. 

The film was initially scheduled for release on 29 March. However, in February, reports emerged that the producers were looking for a May 2019 release. When contacted by Cinestaan.com, producer Shailesh Singh had denied that there are any such plans, but said, "There's nothing yet [change in the release date]. If there is one then I will let you know once it is decided." 

Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film is now set to release on 21 June and will clash with the Shahid Kapoor ad Kiara Advani-starrer Kabir Singh, to be directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy.
