Blank song 'Warning Nahi Dunga': Sunny Deol makes it loud and clear with this Raghav Sachar composition

The song has vocals by Amit Mishra and lyrics by Kumaar.

Karan Kapadia's debut in Blank might be interesting, but he might have to work hard to take the focus off Sunny Deol. The veteran actor is front and centre in the latest song from the film, 'Warning Nahi Dunga'. Composed by Raghav Sachar, the song has vocals by Amit Mishra and lyrics by Kumaar.

The song follows the template of the trailer, with the mystery of Kapadia's 'Blank' human bomb introduced into the fray. As Deol's no-nonsense anti-terrorism squad officer gets to work, the 'Warning Nahi Dunga' echoes out the signature of the character. Curiously, the line is uttered by a criminal that Deol's character is giving the waterboarding treatment to.

The song is high-tempo and rushes at you with a thrill. The build-up to the song using an electronic base fits with the style of the composition. Sachar focusses on the vocals of Mishra, who does not disappoint. The highlight, though, is the fast-paced rap by Enbee that brings in the references to the 'Dhai kilo ka haath' of Deol to add some spice to the song.

However, the lyrics by Kumaar are fairly average. They weave in the story about the aggression and approach of Deol's character, but the rhythm gets jaded quite soon. With little to say, the song banks too much on the power of its main star.

Blank is directed by Behzad Khambata, and will be in theatres on 3 May.
