Nipun Dharmadhikari's family drama Baapjanma released last year. The Sachin Khedekar-starrer was appreciated by the critics and did well at the box office as well.
But Baapjanma was not the first film he made. He first directed Dhappa that could not be released. The film is now all set to hit the screens on 23 November, as per the first poster shared by the makers.
The film talks about national integration and unity in diversity through the eyes of a group of children. The cast of the film has not been revealed yet. The poster has a playful image of kids running after adults. This coupled with the tagline ‘Mothyanna dilela,’ indicates that the kids in the film are ready to teach the adults some lessons.
Dhappa won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration at the 65th National Film Awards.
The film will clash with Mahesh Manjrekar’s Ek Raadha Ek Meera at the box office.
