Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming film Ek Raadha Ek Meera, starring Mrunmayee Deshpande, Surabhi Bhosale and Gashmeer Mahajani, is a mysterious romantic feature.
The story takes place in a foreign country. Krishna (Gashmeer Mahajani) is madly in love with a girl (Mrunmayee Deshpande) in his college. However, at the same time he is romantically involved with another girl (Surabhi Bhosale). One day, in order to impress Deshpande’s character, he performs a stunt and loses his life.
The makers have made it clear that the story is based on Krishna and his lovers Radha and Meera. Though Meera in the legend was born much later, the film has him simultaneously involved with both.
The trailer, though haphazardly, reveals almost the entire plot. One hopes, the makers have an interesting twist in store.
Mahajani suits the character of Krishna and Bhosale appears confident. Deshpande, too, seems to have carried her new look well. The film also features Manjrekar as Bhosale’s father.
Ek Raadha Ek Meera, which was earlier titled Rubik’s Cube, will be released on 23 November.
