Actor Sooraj Pancholi's next is titled Satellite Shankar. Produced by T-Series, Cine 1 Studios, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, the film will be directed by Irfan Kamal.
Kamal has previously penned the screenplay of Krrish 3 (2013) and directed the film Thanks Maa (2009).
Satellite Shankar is said to be based on the adventures of a soldier who discovers India, while the country, too, discovers about the soldier. The film went on the floors today and will be shot across 10 locations.
Earlier this year, Pancholi was linked with Sanjay Dutt-starrer Prasthaanam, but the role went to Ali Fazal. He has been also linked with Isabelle Kaif's maiden film Time To Dance, but the film is yet to go on the floors.
Pancholi made an unimpressive debut in 2015 with Hero, and has since struggled to get work in the industry. He was alleged to have abetted the suicide of former girlfriend Jiah Khan, and the long court battle affected his professional prospects.
