Actress Kangana Ranaut’s 42-year-old South African hairdresser Bradan Alaster Diggy was yesterday (28 September) arrested by the Khar police for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor boy, as per a report in The Times of India, a daily. He was arrested from Raigad where he was with the actress on a film set.

He is one of the eight accused in the case. In July this year, a school teacher and a businessman were booked after the victim filed a rape complaint. The report also said that the victim had named few other people as well but the police wanted to be certain of their roles in the scandal before taking action.
According to the police, the scandal began when the victim joined a dating app where he posed as an adult and stated he is interested in men. “After the information spread, people started approaching him and later had sex with him,” a police official informed the publication.
The report also mentions that the matter came to light when the victim’s mother spotted an unknown man with her son in his room. While the man claimed to be the victim’s friend, the latter confessed to his mother.
