Badhaai Ho song: Guru Randhawa, Neha Kakkar give a fresh take to 'Morni Banke'

Badhaai Ho's newest song 'Morni Banke' is giving us a reason to celebrate. The lively number recreated by Tanishk Bagchi is a catchy duet with singers Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar.

Bagchi has updated Panjabi MC's 2010 hit track 'Morni' for the feature film. It fits the film's situation wherein the lead couple, played by Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra, get engaged in front of their families.

In the song, Malhotra plays hard to get as Khurrana pursues her to put a ring on it, and they later hit the dance floor in the song written by MellowD. The song's has been choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.

Singers Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar are a perfect match for this Punjabi beat. It would have been nice to hear Kakkar more on this song, as she comes in towards the end. This track seems destined to have a long life at future engagements and weddings; be prepared to hear it then.

Badhaai Ho, directed by Amit Sharma, is due to be released on 19 October 2018.
