Sanjay Khan's autobiography to be out soon, announces Hrithik Roshan


The book will be titled The Best Mistakes of My Life.

Though his marriage with Sussanne Khan has ended, Hrithik Roshan still shares cordial relations with Khan and her family. The Super 30 (2019) actor announced that the autobiography of his former father-in-law, actor Sanjay Khan, will be out soon.  

The book will be titled The Best Mistakes of My Life. Hrithik praised the senior actor in a tweet, calling him the 'original Khan'. 

“He is the original Khan and what a story he has to tell. Sanjay Khan's autobiography is going to be out soon. Here's the first look of his autobiography titled The Best Mistakes of My Life,” Hrithik tweeted. 

Born to an Afghan immigrant, Sanjay Khan grew up in Bengaluru and started his career as an actor in 1964 with Satyen Bose's Dosti. In a span of three decades, he acted in about 37 films, including Dus Lakh (1966), Ek Phool Do Mali (1969) and Mela (1971). 

Khan's biggest success though was on television when he played Tipu Sultan, the 18th-century ruler of Mysore, in the popular TV show The Sword of Tipu Sultan (1990). In 1988, a fire engulfed the sets of the show and the actor suffered near-fatal wounds. He hasn’t acted since, but produced another television series, 1857 Kranti, in 2000. 

Khan is married to Zarine Khan, a well-known model of the 1960’s.They have four children — Farah Khan Ali, Simone Arora, Sussanne Khan and actor Zayed Khan. Late actors Feroz Khan and Akbar Khan were his brothers.
