Director Sameer Ramesh Surve's upcoming film Shubh Lagna Savdhan seems to revolve around close friends Aniket (Subodh Bhave) and Richa (Shruti Marathe). Aniket doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage. In fact, he has never attended a wedding in his life. Richa, however, is a romantic.
As the trailer progresses, we see Aniket falling in love with Richa as they spend some time with eachother during a friend's wedding.
The story of the film is not very clear through the trailer. The makers seem to have preferred to keep the plot hidden. However, this has hampered the flow of the trailer, making it look like a hurried work.
The film also stars Pratik Deshmukh, Rewati Limaye, Dr Girish Oak, Anand Ingle, Nirmiti Sawant and Kishori Ambiye.
Shubh Lagna Savdhan is Surve’s second film after Shree Partner (2012), which was based on the late author VP Kale’s popular Marathi novel Partner.
The film wil be released on 12 October 2018.
