In director Namrata Singh Gujral's upcoming 5 Weddings, Nargis Fakhri plays an American journalist who rediscovers her Indian roots when she arrives in the country to write a story on weddings. In the course of her trip, she is escorted by Rajkummar Rao who plays a police officer who has to keep an eye out for the story Fakhri is covering.

The first song from the film is a romantic duet composed by Vishal Mishra. Written by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay, the song is sung by Mishra and popular YouTube singer Shirley Setia.

Both Mishra and Setra give the track a slightly wistful touch as the song explores the romantic journey of its lead characters, played by Fakhri and Rao, which has its ups and downs. The song is a soft, melodic track to revisit on days you feel like reflecting.

5 Weddings, which has been shot in California and Punjab, is due to be released on 5 October.
