Sonali Kulkarni to play Sulochana didi in Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar: See poster

The makers of director Abhijeet Deshpande Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar created a buzz by revealing the first look of Sumeet Raghvan from the film recently. The actor plays the younger veteran actor Shriram Lagoo.

Now, Sonali Kulkarni’s look from the film has been unmasked. Interestingly, she is essaying the younger legendary Hindi and Marathi film actress Sulochana Latkar, who is fondly addressed as Sulochana didi.

In the poster shared by the makers, Kulkarni is dressed in the kind of attire Latkar was usually seen in – a white saree, earrings and a big red bindi. Her wide smile is quite a delight.

Just like Raghvan, Kulkarni's look is not exactly like the yesteryear actress's. We'll have to wait for the trailer for a better analysis.

Latkar is considered as one of the living legends of Indian cinema, who is currently 90 years old. She acted in more than 250 films in both Hindi and Marathi over a span of 50 years. She was presented with the Padma Shri by the government of India in 1999 for her contribution to cinema.

Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar will be released on 7 November. The film will feature Subodh Bhave in the titular role.
