After a dull start, Andhadhun is making steady progress at the box office. The dark comedy, directed by Sriram Raghavan, picked up over the weekend, and then enjoyed a good first Monday, bagging Rs3.50 crore nett, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.
Andhadhun has so far collected Rs17.85 crore nett in four days. Made at an estimated budget of Rs25 crore, Andhadhun was released across 800 screens in India.

While word-of-mouth has helped Andhadhun, there was no such luck for Loveyatri, produced by Salman Khan. The romantic drama that has Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, and Warina Hussain in the cast, could barely make Rs1 crore nett on its first Monday.
Loveyatri has so far collected Rs7.75 crore nett in its first four days. Like Andhadhun, Loveyatri is also said to have been made at an estimated budget of Rs25 crore and was released in 800 screens.

Hollywood flick Venom, too, enjoyed a good Monday bagging Rs2.50 crore nett. Venom has so far made Rs18 crore nett in India. The Marvel film, starring Tom Hardy, was released in 1,000 screens.
Meanwhile, holdover release Sui Dhaaga made Rs1.25 crore nett on its second Monday, taking its India business to Rs72.25 crore nett. Sui Dhaaga made Rs10.25 crore nett in its second weekend.
