Rishi, Neetu Kapoor meet Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Bendre in New York

Over a week ago, on 29 September, actor Rishi Kapoor announced he was taking a short leave of absence and heading to the US for medical treatment. He urged his fans not to worry and said he would be back soon.

Since then, the actor has shared a video of himself with actor Anupam Kher and his wife, Neetu Kapoor, put up pictures of the couple with other Indian artistes in New York.

Kher and Rishi were filmed walking down a New York street together. Kher is in New York filming for his American television series, New Amsterdam. Rishi, with white hair, looked thinner than usual as he strolled down the street.
Later, the Kapoors also caught up with Priyanka Chopra, who has been a New York resident after she filmed her now-cancelled television series, Quantico, in the city. Chopra shared a cheery photograph of her with Rishi and Neetu and wrote, “Was so good seeing you both @neetu54 #RishiKapoor laughter and smiles as always!!”
The Kapoors also paid a visit to Sonali Bendre, who is in New York undergoing treatment for cancer. Neetu shared a photograph with Bendre, her husband Goldie Behl and his sister Shristi Arya.
