Lupt, the horror thriller featuring Jaaved Jaaferi, will now be released in theatres on 2 November. It was earlier scheduled to be released on 5 October. The decision was taken in order to avoid any clash at the box office for the film.

Director Prabhuraj shared the announcement on his Twitter profile on Saturday morning, declaring the postponement of the release date.

The film, a horror thriller, features Jaaferi, alongside Karan Anand, Vijay Raaz, Niki Walia, Meenakshi Dixit, and Rishabh Chadha in key roles.

The first look poster of the film was unveiled on 9 July by Remo D'Souza, with a gruesome Meenakshi Dixit playing the ghoul with a wound scar on her forehead. The film's story revolves around a man seeking help to escape the terrifying visions in his dreams. While it is initially suggested to be a product of his insomnia, the family soon discovers the truth behind it.
