‘Dooba Dooba’ song from Pradeep Sarkar's Helicopter Eela shows the journey of Kajol's Eela — her romantic tryst with a man (Tota Roy Chowdhury) who disappears her after she gives birth to their son.

Through this song the makers have, for the first time, given a glimpse of Eela’s partner. However, she is forced to raise their son Vivan (Riddhi Sen) alone as a single mother. While it is not clear if he dies or abandons them, the scenes between Kajol and Sen are emotional.
Here's why Kajol advised Riddhi Sen to take sleeping pill before Helicopter Eela shooting
‘Dooba Dooba’ is a moving song that hits the right chords. Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan are perfect in their performances and complement each other well. Lyricist Swanand Kirkire once again shines with simple, yet effective poetry. Composer Amit Trivedi has used soft tunes that suit the mood of the song. This is yet another winner from him.
More importantly, the song not only works well for the romantic scenes between Eela and her man, it also a good fit for the emotional scenes between Eela and her son.
