Saif Ali Khan plays Shakun Kothari, a shrewd stockbroker who has made a million bucks, in Baazaar. Sadly for Khan, Baazaar has hardly got going at the box office. The film had a low opening weekend and it was all but expected that the first Monday collections wouldn't be encouraging. The film could only make Rs1.50 crore nett on its first Monday, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.
The film, produced by Nikkhil Advani, has made Rs12.25 crore nett in four days. Made at an estimated budget of Rs40 crore, Baazaar was released in more than 2,000 screens in India.

There is no big release this Friday, and Khan and Advani would hope that the film picks up in its second weekend.
Meanwhile, Sharman Joshi’s Kaashi In Search Of Ganga managed to eaarn Rs10 lakh nett on its first Monday, taking its four-day total to Rs70 lakh nett. The film was among the few other low key releases like Nargis Fakhri's 5 Weddings and Neil Nitin Mukesh-starrer Dassehra that failed to get going.
