Farhan Akhtar gives a glimpse of upcoming single 'Jaane Yeh Kyun Kiya'

Farhan Akhtar emerged as a rockstar in his maiden film as an actor, Rock On!!! (2008). Akhtar sang all the songs in the film directed by Abhishek Kapoor.

As he switched to acting, the singer in Akhtar had taken a backseat. Akhtar is now set to launch his first single titled 'Jaane Ye Kyun Kiya'. The track will be launched on 5 October.

“Yes, you all guessed the song name right! Here's a sneak peak into @FarOutAkhtar's upcoming single #JaaneYeKyunKiya! #StayTuned @RochakTweets,” Akhtar tweeted giving us a glimpse of what is to come.

Based on the sound, this will be a pop rock track. The music has been scored by Rochak Kohli and th single will be launched by Zee Music Company. Akhtar had last crooned a song in Rock On 2 (2016).
