With web-series being all the rage, Eros Now's latest series, Smoke, is set to premiere at the MIPCOM 2018 on 15-18 October. The series is set to be released on 26 October on Eros Now channel for consumption.

The teaser captures the grim, complex nature of the drug trade, the changing nature of the idyllic region of Goa and its politics. The teaser to the series features many familiar faces like Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Gulshan Devaiah, Neil Bhoopalam, Mandira Bedi, and even the late Tom Alter.

While Sarbh and Devaiah seem to be playing the two leading faces of the drug trade, the rest of the cast seem to play individuals caught in the vortex of intoxication and violence that follows this hidden society. Incidentally, the late Alter makes a rare appearance as a strangely gruff artist warning a girl not to 'play' with his life. The image is very different to the genteel, kind Alter as he is remembered.

With a number of interesting actors, and a complex script, the series looks set to make another dent in the growing digital space in the Indian market.

The 11-episode series, is directed by Neel Guha, and will premiere exclusively on Eros Now channel.
