Meanwhile, Andhadhun also bagged a decent Rs2.90 crore nett in its fourth weekend.

October this year has belonged to Ayushmann Khurrana. The talented actor has starred in two films released this month, and both are becoming hits.
First, Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun won audiences over. Now, the family drama Badhaai Ho has also hit all the right chords.
Badhaai Ho bagged Rs17 crore nett in its second weekend, as reported by BoxOffceIndia.com. The film is already the biggest hit of Khurrana’s career as it has pocketed a total of Rs82.33 crore nett so far.
Badhaai Ho review: Hilarious, earnest and a complete joy
The film's popularity can be gauged by the fact that in spite of quite a few new releases this week, Badhaai Ho has continued to be the audiences' favourite in its second weekend.
Saif Ali Khan's latest film, Baazaar, was released on over 2,000 screens across India, but could only make Rs10.75 crore nett in its opening weekend. With Baazaar not meeting expectations, it looks like Badhaai Ho is on its way to reach the Rs100 crore mark.
The film, directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, was made at an estimated budget of Rs30 crore and released on more than 2,000 screens across the country.
Before Badhaai Ho, Khurrana enjoyed success with Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun. The dark comedy made a decent Rs2.90 crore nett in its fourth weekend, taking its total to Rs62.91 crore nett in India.
Andhadhun review: Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu revel in this symphony of mysteries
Andhadhun was made at a modest budget of Rs25 crore and the film was initially released on just 800 screens. Given that it did not have a wide release, its box office collection is really impressive.
Khurrana has enjoyed the last two years of his career with four successful films — Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), and now Andhadhun (2018) and Badhaai Ho (2018).
