The teaser of Murari M Rakshit’s upcoming film Reunion is out. Reunion marks the return of the on-screen pair of Parambrata Chatterjee and Raima Sen after Bastu-Shaap (2016).

The film, based on hostel life, also stars Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Samadarshi Dutta, Indrasish Roy, Sourav Das, Anindita Basu and Saayoni Ghosh in important roles.

The teaser introduces Rudra, the protagonist, played by Chatterjee. It begins with the words 'Fele asa sonali din', referring to the 'good old days'. Some students discuss Rudra. As the characters guide us to his journey, it appears that Rudra was seen as an angel by some and too ambitious by others.

In the film, Chakraborty plays the father of Raima Sen's character who, apparently, is Rudra's love interest. Chakraborty, who also happens to be Rudra’s teacher, warns his daughter about him, saying people who are into active politics turn out to be extremely whimsical.

The teaser then cuts to a few glimpses of an altercation and a small explosion, eventually introducing us to a bloodied Rudra Chatterjee.

The teaser suggests the film largely revolves around student politician Rudra, his escapades and the mystery surrounding him. Also, various shades of student life — the romance and the nostalgia — seems to be at the heart of the film. Watch the teaser below.
