Chhota Bheem, Chutki, Jaggu, Raju, and Kalia make their way to China in the latest movie on the animated characters. The first trailer sets up the scene as they go to the Middle Kingdom on the emperor’s invitation to compete in a martial arts competition.
The emperor's daughter, Princess Kia, is kidnapped on the orders of her uncle Zuhu, Chhota Bheem has to step up and try to find her. Will the gang be able to defeat the all-powerful Zuhu?
The trailer of the film, directed by Rajiv Chilaka, will remind you of another China-set animated feature, Kung Fu Panda (2008). Indeed many of the sets and colour schemes seem influenced by the 2008 DreamWorks film.
However, the adventure of a new setting and the rescue of a princess is enough to intrigue audiences for its latest instalment on the big screen. The animated film, which is its first in 3D, is slated for a summer 2019 release.
