The short video takes the audiences through the actor’s rise as a star, signing 100 films in the first six months of his career. The younger brother of actor Feroz Khan, Sanjay debuted with Chetan Anand's Haqeeqat (1964).
He worked with all the top heroines of the time, from Mumtaz to Zeenat Aman, and turned producer-director with Chandi Sona (1977). His passion project was the 1989 historical series The Sword of Tipu Sultan. Unfortunately, a massive fire engulfed the Mysore sets in 1989 and Sanjay suffered 65% third degree burns. After being hospitalized for 13 months, he came back to shoot the series.
Sanjay Khan's autobiography, published by Penguin India, will reveal other untold tales from his life, like surviving a storm in the Indian ocean and surviving a helicopter crash.
