Konkona Sensharma, Bhumi Pednekar break out of their cages in Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare

The first poster of Alankrita Shrivastava's next directorial project, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, has Konkona Sensharma and Bhumi Pednekar teaming up.

Like Shrivastava's previous film, Lipstick Under My Burkha (2017), this title is also a mouthful. However, the intriguing title is already piquing our interest.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, the shooting has begun for the film. The film is said to be a coming-of-age story in Greater Noida.

The poster features Sensharma in a sari, while Pednekar is wearing black pants and a top. Both have a devil-may-care attitude in the first look. Sensharma sports sunglasses, while Pednekar is holding a glass of alcohol and smoking a cigarette. Both women have cages around their heads, but the doors are wide open.

The film also includes the hashtag 'Join the REBELution', likely referring to the lead actresses and titular characters as rebels.

The makers of Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare haven't announced the release date for the film.
