Namaste England song: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Tu Meri Main Tera' highlights an illegal journey for love

In Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Namaste England, the statement is demonstrated in the illegal and difficult journey Arjun Kapoor's Param undertakes to reach England from India and reunite with his wife Jasmeet, played by Parineeti Chopra.

The latest song from Namaste England, composed by Mannan Shaah, highlights the dangerous situation Param finds himself in. But his love for Jasmeet keeps him strong as he crosses borders, seas and squeezes himself in trucks to enter England illegally.

Written by Javed Akhtar, the love ballad is powerfully sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Singers Shadab and Altamash Faridi back Khan on the vocals.

The title 'Tu Meri Main Tera' seems to be the mantra that keeps the character of Param going. And the lyrics focus on the difficulties of separation on both Param and Jasmeet. The song’s picturization is a realistic depiction of the hardships most refugees face when they leave their countries behind. Here though, Param is leaving his country to pursue his love.
