Aamir, Amitabh, Katrina, Fatima line-up in new Thugs Of Hindostan poster

With less than a month to go until Diwali and its big blockbuster release, Yash Raj Films has released a new poster of Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs Of Hindostan (2018).

The poster brings all its stars in one frame – Aamir Khan’s Firangi Mallah, Amitabh Bachchan’s Khudabaksh Azaad, Fatima Sana Shaikh’s Zafira and Katrina Kaif’s Suraiyya.

The warm colours of the poster highlight the fiery sun and the impending clash between the ships of the British East India Company and the band of thugs led by Azaad. Except for Kaif’s character, the artistes are all carrying weapons in their hands.

While the poster gives off a large Pirates of the Caribbean vibe, the film has tried to stake its claim as an original feature set off the waters of the Indian coast. Set in 1795, the story though is largely fictional.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Thugs Of Hindostan, which also stars British actor Lloyd Owen, is due to be released on 8 November 2018.
