Box office: Andhadhun earns Rs26.10 crore, Loveyatri makes only Rs10 crore in first week

Sriram Raghavan’s dark comedy Andhadhun has got critical appreciation, but has had an average run at the domestic box office. The film, starring Aayushmann Khurrana, made Rs26.10 crore nett in its first week, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.  

 Andhadhun made Rs11.75 crore nett over the week, whereas it had earned Rs14.35 crore nett in its opening weekend. Made at an estimated budget of Rs25 crore, the film had released in 800 screens across India. 

There was no joy for Salman Khan-produced Loveyatri, as the film only made Rs10 crore nett in its first week. The film has Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Garima Hussain making their film debut. The film was made at an estimated budget of Rs25 crore and it released in 800 screens across India. As per sources, Khan has recovered Rs25 crore through satellite, digital and music rights. 

Meanwhile, the earnings of Sharat Katariya's Sui Dhaaga: Made In India dropped significantly in the second week. The Yash Raj Films's drama had made Rs62 crore nett in the first week, but made only Rs13.25 crore nett in week two. The film has so far bagged a total of Rs75.25 crore nett in India. Sui Dhaaga was made at an estimated budget of Rs50 crore, while it released in 2500 screens across India.
