Actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh’s next will now release a week earlier on 14 December. Deshmukh changed the release date upon the request of actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose film Zero (2018) will now get a solo release on 21 December.
The Marathi film’s latest poster features the new release date and a first look at Deshmukh’s character. The poster was unveiled by the actor on Twitter on Diwali.

Deshmukh is seen a fierce mode, brandishing a belt, much like his first Marathi film, Lai Bhaari (2014) in which he played a character named Mauli.
Upon first glance, it seems like Mauli is a sequel to Lai Bhaari with the similar characterizations of Deshmukh. Actress Saiyami Kher is making her Marathi film debut with Mauli. Her aunt, Tanvi Azmi played a key role in Lai Bhaari.
Mauli, which is produced Genelia Deshmukh, is written by Kshitij Patwardhan and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.
